HumanitZ is an isometric sandbox survival game set in an open world ravaged by a zombie apocalypse. Survive alone or with friends by exploring, crafting, building, and fighting. The past is immutable, but the future is worth fighting for.

A zombie outbreak has devastated civilization. Hordes of zeeks have clawed their way to the top, becoming the world's top predator. Ordinary humans are now an endangered species, and scattered groups struggle to survive in this new, merciless world.

Will you dare venture into the city foraging, knowing a horde of zeeks could be lurking around the corner? Or will you try to survive in the wild, hunting, fishing, and farming?

Survive in an open sandbox world

A vast, brutal world stretches from the wilderness to dense urban areas—each location offers both resources and risks. Exploration is rarely safe and never predictable: infected fauna, hordes of zeeks, and hostile survivors roam everywhere. Controlled vehicles become vital: traversing dangerous terrain, hauling supplies, transporting companions, and advancing deeper into hostile zones. Will you find aid and trade in survivor camps, or will you face brutal resistance while capturing bandit bases?

And if infected and other survivors become scarce, hunger, exposure to the elements, and a dynamic weather system will constantly threaten your chances of surviving another day. For those willing to press on when others stop, the path leads to The Island—and to the truth about the outbreak and its horrors, which remain untold.

Live off the land!

Scavenge the ruins of the old world and gather resources to survive, or retreat to the hills to escape the shambling remnants of humanity. Set up a farm, gather, hunt animals, or fish for sustenance. Every choice could mean the difference between surviving another day and becoming part of the ruins.

Singleplayer, Co-op & Online

Survive your way. Play solo, co-op, or online in PvE and PvP modes, with dedicated servers and nearby voice chat. Whether you face the apocalypse alone or with friends watching your back is up to you. In a devastated world, even loners quickly learn that befriending a dog or horse companion can be the difference between life and death.

Flexible Character Customization

Create your survivor by choosing professions, ailments, and a skill tree system. Then arm them with a variety of weapons and equipment that will shape how you survive the apocalypse.

Crafting and Building for Survival

Use a comprehensive crafting and building system to create everything you need—from equipment and consumables to vehicles. Craft and customize weapons with modifications and attachments to survive constant threats and harvest game. Upgrade your vehicles with armor, weapons, and storage to adapt to the upcoming risks.

Then build a safe house, fortify your base with defensive structures like electrified fences and concrete barricades, or rebuild a burned-out house into a new home.

Withstand the Zeek Onslaught

Not all Zeeks are slow and dumb. Adapt and improvise against a variety of options, or risk becoming zombie fodder. Customize your sessions with a wide range of game-changing parameters, or make things more challenging by enabling Permadeath mode if you dare.

The apocalypse eventually takes everyone. If not by zombies, then by starvation, exposure to the elements, treacherous terrain, or other people. How long will you survive?
